Samwer-Gründer investieren in Facebook
Die Internet-Unternehmer Samwer planen eine Investition in das Internet-Netzwerk Facebook. Die eingebrachte Summe bewege sich zwischen 10 und 15 Millionen US-Dollar berichtet das Wall Street Journal. Ziel der Investition sei es, Facebook mit eigenen Erfahrungen bei der Expansion im europäischen Raum zu unterstützen.

+ Microsoft kaufte 1,6 Prozent und zahlte 240 Millionen Dollar. Damit beträgt der rechnerische Gesamtwert 15 Milliarden US-Dollar.
+ 0,4 Prozent kaufte sich wenig später der chinesische Hutchison Whampoa Konzern
Zu den Samwer Brüdern: Sie verkauften Ihre Online-Auktionswebseite alando.de an ebay für 50 Mill. Dollar und Jamba! für ca. 270 Millionen an den US-Konzern VeriSign. Als Kapitalgeber waren Sie unter anderem an der Gründung von studiVZ beteiligt.
