Beinahe die Hälfte der Fernsehzuschauer (48 Prozent) surft während des Fernsehens im Internet. Das hat eine Studie im Auftrag des Hightech-Verbandes BITKOM ergeben. 23 Prozent der Befragten nutzen die beiden Medien sogar häufig parallel, 25 Prozent geben an, dies hin und wieder tun. „Mittlerweile ist es in vielen Wohnzimmern Standard, Internet und Fernsehen gleichzeitig zu benutzen. Meist geschieht das allerdings nicht mit dem Internetanschluss des Fernsehers, sondern durch verschiedene Geräte“, sagte BITKOM-Präsidiumsmitglied Ralph Haupter. „Fernsehbildschirm an der Wand und Notebook auf den Knien – so werden heute Medien genutzt.“
